With over 80 years of combined knowledge and over 10 years of working together as a team, we find our work practice and areas of expertise excel us above other companies. Together we work on all kinds of projects, from new home builds, bathroom renovations, burst water pipes, multi family exterior building maintenance, all the way to commercial tenant improvements and new school construction.

Our Goal

We designed our business name to be clear on exactly what we are about. So many times we are approached to come in and fix a project that has gone horribly wrong due to inexperienced workmanship. Correct Constructors is exactly as it sounds. Our company goal is to do things correct the fist time.

Josif Jurtsuk
Managing Partner

For over thirty years Josif has been involved in the construction industry. Staring his career as a tradesman then moving on to become a contractor. He has completed over 10,000 projects ranging from small basement developments all the way to a Leed state of the art University within Alberta.
Josifs' Residential Experience includes all types of renovations, new home builds, infill development and luxury custom acreage homes.
In the Commercial sector he has worked on many projects including hotels in Summerland BC, Norquest College in Edmonton, Fieldhouse in HighRiver, Affordable Housing project in Pincher Creek, Calgary Police Service building in Calgary and many more…

Hayley Thomas
Accounts/HR and Design Consultant

Hayley grew up in the United Kingdom and immigrated to Canada 24 years ago. She has studied at Havering College of Further and Higher Education and Mount Royal University. She has been in Accounts and HR for over 15 years. She has worked alone within the HR and accounting departments of companies running over 200 employees to those with just a handful.
Hayley is also schooled in Interior Design and runs the design department for Correct Constructors. She is currently studying at Sait for her Drafting Certificate.

Allan Mathews
Managing Partner

Allan is a 2nd generation construction professional, raised within an engineering family. Learning to read blueprints with his father from a young age. He has been in the construction industry for over 35 years. Allan holds a 'Gold Seal Certificate' which is recognized nationally. He has traveled extensively around the world to places such as Cuba, China, Belize, Botswana and New Orleans to spearhead the construction of modular affordable housing.
Allan has organized staff from over 100 employees at a time to under 5.
When asked 'What is the most important thing you've learned in the construction industry?" He answered “Well, that is easy. It is the importance of honesty and to always have integrity.”
